After the band's announcement of a year-long reunion tour, there wasa huge blog buzz. So I'm sure you know the Guided By Voices hiatus is now over. These guys are finally ready to start dropping some new material, too! Nice!
I'm a little hesitant to get excited, Though. Reunions aren't always all they're cracked up to be, and this one has been getting built up to achieve the former glory of Guided By Voices releases like 1994's Bee Thousand.
Even if that doesn't happen, the material that's coming out so far from this forthcoming GBV album is pretty good. A few 7"s are gonna hit stores along with a 12", 21-song album. The album's title: Let's Go Eat the Factory.
