From Toronto hails The Bats Pajamas, a punk-indebted garage rock band that recently dropped an EP titled Totally. The EP follows the group's full-length debut that was released in 2010, which, according to their Bandcamp, was recorded by Steve Albini. Throughout the release's five tracks, The Bats Pajamas specialize in a dirty brand of short, catchy rock songs that might make Wire fans happy. However, the band isn't afraid to take detours from this sound; a track like the doom-influenced opener, appropriately dubbed "Breaking Sabbath," is a prime example.
