Nona is a new EP from the indie-pop group Sam Means. Just shy of 15 minutes, Nona doesn't overstay it's welcome. It's reasonably mild album, it sets a lighthearted pop rock tone, and sticks with it. It could use to be a little more varied, however, this will certainly serve its purpose to introduce people to the sound that Sam Means is going for. This collection reminds me quite a bit of the Cold War Kids EP Up in Rags. The production (namely the very game drum sounds) is what will make this stand a little taller than its peers. If you've got a hankering for some solid, hooky, indie-pop, Nona will certainly satisfy.
