Machinedrum - "Endless Love"
New Tracks1 CommentNorth Carolina electronic music producer Machinedrum readies a b-sides album that's going to be released via Ninja Tune this week. It's a series of cuts that didn't make it onto his last record: Vapor City. Some of these tracks make for a pretty gorgeous experience--especially "Endless Love" here. This song features some sparkling acoustic guitar arpeggios, serene guest vocals, and a peppy set of kick drums. Enjoy!
SBTRKT - Wonder Where We Land
ReviewsCommentFor his sophomore album, electronic music producer SBTRKT brings on more guests, more experiments, but somehow ends up with a less enjoyable album.
Burial- Truant / Rough Sleeper
ReviewsCommentOn this new pair of tracks, dubstep innovator Burial uses gaps and silence to progress his ever-growing interest in longer song lengths and ambient atmospheres.

Time Wharp- BLK EP
New Tracks2 CommentsOut now as a free digital download from Astro Nautico, here's a new EP from Time Wharp, BLK EP. It's a set of new tracks and remixes combines, well, what genres you're hearing depends on what track you're listening to.
"BLK" puts a dark atmosphere and some auto-tuned vocal samples in front of a straight house beat; "Basic Step" takes the frantic rhythms and vocal samples of Juke and Footwork, and ices them with some glossy synth phrases; and the opener, "yrLyf," slowly paces itself like a James Blake tune, and features some soothing background vocals that wash over the beat in hypnotic swells--there's even a bouncy sitar-like solo that pops in toward the end.
A nice addition to the growing Astro Nautico discography.
