Atoms For Peace--a.k.a. Thom Yorke & Fwendz--have dropped a new music video for the track "Before Your Very Eyes," and it's definitely up there with some of my favorite musically oriented visuals of this year! The odd waves of brown fluid lapping up against jagged rock structures reminds me of something I'd catch on MTV back in the 90s. There's something a little dated about the style, look, aesthetic; however, it's still a pretty chilling video. There's something beautiful about seeing Thom Yorke's head depicted as a piece of rubble from a lost city. The way his mouth moves and face emotes as he's singing is incredibly true to life as well. Awesome video! Watch, enjoy, and catch a review for Atoms For Peace's latest record below:

Atoms For Peace - "Ingenue"
VideosCommentKind of like what Radiohead did with "Lotus Flower," Thom Yorke and his Atoms For Peace project have put out a new music video loaded with odd choreography that's equally perplexing and alluring. Enjoy!

Atoms For Peace - Amok
Reviews3 CommentsOn this debut Atoms For Peace LP, Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke uses this new band of his to continue honing the electronic style he's been toying with since 2006's The Eraser. Stylistically, it's almost a sequel to Radiohead's The King of Limbs, and this just happens to be one of those moments where the sequel is better.

New Tracks2 CommentsAtoms For Peace - "Judge Jury and Executioner"
New Tracks3 CommentsWith some strange loops and atmospheric vocals, this new Atoms For Peace single has me more psyched than ever to hear the band's upcoming release, Amok, which I already said I was looking forward to in this video. Not only is there a solid chord progression here, but I'm loving the mix of acoustic and electric sounds on this. The raw acoustic guitar slides in nicely with the song's detailed beat and weary tone.
Look for Amok via XL on February 25th.
