Glasgow is bringing out the charming lo-fi indie pop and I am totally okay with that.

Because not only is Ela Orleans charming, but you can feel the personality held within it and that is what makes it stick out from the piles of artists trying to do the same thing. I am a huge fan of what is being done here with the vocal echo effect and how it seems to linger. The vocals especially on the track "In The Night" give a really awesome The Black Lips style vibe. Moments like "I Know" give an almost Daniel Johnston-like impression as well.

If you are looking for a good deal of diversity from your lo-fi pop then this is a great place to look as each song is unique in their sweet production and haunting vocals.

These tracks come from a recent split Ela Orleans had with Dirty Beaches.
