Various Artists - Tasty Morsels Vol. 2

An assortment of strange, lo-fi tunes that range from weirdo pop to ambient electronics. Thanks to the people over at Tasty Morsels for putting it together. For those that swoon to the sounds of Ariel Pink and bite-sized synths creating vast, funky soundscapes. Enjoy!

Jesse Boykins III- Way of a Wayfarer

A sweet EP of neo-soul songs from singer Jesse Boykins III. He's been steadily dropping original tracks and remixes since the summer of 2011. I'm late to the party, but I'm happy to be here now.

Way of A Wayfarer is 6-track release, and it can be downloaded right here. The dude did right to pick up a number of beats from producer Gold Panda, because these instrumentals compliment Boykins' style really well. He's got a breathy voice that's light on the ears, and a smooth sensuality pours out of nearly every song here.

The Hood Internet- Self-Titled

After years of making some of the Internet's most desirable mashups and remixes, the Hood Internet has dropped a new album via the good people at Mishka. Download it here, and scope reimagined versions of tracks from Ariel Pink, Foster the People, A Place to Bury Strangers, and more.

Loops Haunt- "Ark"

A track from the new Loops Haunt EP, Ark, which drops today. The song streaming above is the title track, and it's a pretty intense listen. This producer manages to pull together a plethora of mind-bending sounds in just under five minutes. Some of them are pretty deep and hard-hitting, too. Reminds me a lot of that new Amon Tobin album, actually. Very nice! Look for this release now on Black Acre Records.

Synkro- "Girl"

A new release via Mindset records, and available on Boomkat, I'm digging the clipped and looped R&B remains strewn about this new Synkro track, "Girl."
