Combining ambient textures and mind-numbing drones with dub rhythms, the new Biblo album, Falls Silent, creates a pretty vast soundscape. If it weren't for the percussion, it might even sound like standing in the middle of the desert at night with no signs of civilization for miles in every direction.
Though this album does feature ambient characteristics, the music here is reasonably engaging. Biblo makes sure to put plenty of progression into these tracks, keeping things from getting stale.
