A video for the final track on King Krule's new EP, which it out now on True Panther Sounds. This project is spearheaded by a UK singer-songwriter who was getting some buzz last year while putting music out under the name "Zoo Kid." His style hasn't exactly changed by leaps and bounds since the name change, but things to sound and feel a bit more refined. The song above is one of the catchiest moments on this entire release.
The husky drum beat, shimmering guitars, and echo-soaked vocals make a nice, sentimental mixture. I like where King Krule is bringing his music, and I'm looking forward to whatever he's got to offer in 2012.
