Lil B is one of the Internet's most confusing personalities. When should you take him seriously? When shouldn't you? Is he really that "terrible" of a rapper. I talked about him for over twenty freaking minutes, and I still have questions. Look, I'm curious. I can't help it. It's my nature.
But if there's one thing I do know about B, he'll come out with a track or a video every once in a while where he's actually spitting. Maybe it's not so great it's gonna go down in the history books, but it's enough to make the naysayers shut up for a second and listen. Maybe they'll reflect for a moment and rethink Lil B's potential.
I think that's worth doing on "R.I.P. the Rap Game." As refreshing as it is to hear B rapping like this, I'd be willing to bet he'll go back to his old ways the next time he drops a track. And why shouldn't he? Tracks like "Pretty Boy" and "Bill Bellamy" are what see the most hype and outrage. When Lil B's more serious releases are what gets him the most attention, maybe he'll stay turned in that direction.
