Recently, a lot of my video comments have been peppered with suggestions of the Men's new album, Leave Home.
These guys are a Brooklyn rock outfit with a rough, saturated sound that brings me back to some of my favorite Big Black tracks. Not only that, but the vocals sound strikingly similar to Guy Picciotto'--you know, of Fugazi and Rites of Spring fame.
"Bataille" is a voluminous hybrid of rock 'n' roll, post-punk, and noise that references the old, but sounds brand new. Scope the cover art for Leave Home below, and look for it now on Sacred Bones:
