A handful of long, ambient motifs built of electronically edited piano playing coming off this Teotl Expansion EP, P:1. While, on paper, the musical concept of this EP seems pretty simple--and, uh, well, it is--the final result is something that's actually pretty hypnotic and beautiful. It's got the straightforward and basic delivery of a Brian Eno ambient work, but looks to incorporate the kind of subtly rough textures Tim Heck is famous for incorporating into his albums.
