Skins is one of the year's least gratifying albums, but out of everyone involved in its creation, X is probably the least at blame.

XXXTENTACION - ?
Reviews1 CommentX makes some improvements on the mixing, singing, and songwriting fronts with ?, but the album is still a mixed bag consisting mainly of half-baked song ideas.
Shlohmo- "Couch" (soosh remix)
New Tracks2 CommentsShlohmo- "Trapped In A Burning House"
Videos1 CommentJust in time for Halloween, it's a music video for what's got to be the most disturbing track on Shlohmo's latest album, Bad Vibes, "Trapped In A Burning House." Not only does this track take a break from the quiet and subtle beats that litter most of this album, but it's an unapologetic dive into a world of distorted, overpowering drones.
Look for Shlohmo's new album on Friends of Friends.
Shlohmo- "Places"
VideosCommentA new video from Shlohmo for the track "Places." Of course, the video is loaded with, well, places.
The track comes off the beat producer's latest album, Bad Vibes, which is out now on Friends of Friends. Check my review of the album right here.

Shlohmo- "Just Us"
VideosCommentA new video from Shlohmo's latest release, Bad Vibes. The song is "Just Us," and it's been given these visuals by director Arthur Chance. With a dark room and a load of televisions, I think he captured the vibe of this song perfectly.

Shlohmo- Bad Vibes
Reviews3 CommentsShlohmo's Bad Vibes is a nice set of thirteen beats that will chill out just about any situation. The music here functions on different levels of listening. They're great as ambient backdrops, but can be explored actively as well. WATCH THE REVIEW
Shlohmo- "Sink"
New Tracks1 CommentA track from the new Shlohmo album, Bad Vibes, which is out now via Friends of Friends. The guy is a L.A. beatsmith who puts together the kind of lo-fi, glitchy hip hop instrumentals that I had almost given up on. Though none of the tracks on Bad Vibes really jump out at me, I'm finding a lotta detail carved into these tracks. The thirteen songs here are extremely calming, and easy to engage with.
The track "Sink" is one of the most understated moments on the album, filling in the percussive gaps with swelling, atmospheric keyboards. With the slow and lazy tempo, the whole think almost sounds like a lullaby.
