If you're on the lookout for icy beats and dreamy atmospheres, let me direct you toward Blackbird Blackbird's latest album, Halo. It's a collection of new material and older b-sides, too. That's probably not going to be audible on this release though, since BB's sound is pretty cohesive. I'm digging the heavenly guest vocals on "Fly" and "Twin Flames"--provided by Rachel Levy and Seffaloo.
I'm especially digging on the instrumental above. The only sin committed with these quirky synths and steady percussion is that they last a mere 1:51. There will always be replays, I suppose.
