A track from Blond Redhead's upcoming album, Penny Sparkle. It's slated for a Sept. 14th release via 4AD.

"Not Getting There" matches a smooth production sound with some seductive vocals and a sinister chord progression. I'm really loving the drum machine on this one, and the light yelps Kazu Makino lets out in her vocals. It's almost what I imagine Fever Ray would sound like if she went dreampop.
