VideosCommentIcelandic electronic musician and contemporary classical music composer Jóhann Jóhannsson broke into the mainstream consciousness earlier this year with his breathtaking score for the acclaimed Hollywood film Prisoners. Now, he's set to take his astounding score for last year's Bill Morrison-directed documentary The Miners' Hymns on the road for a handful of screenings, which you can find information about on his website. Jóhannsson will be constructing the music live with a number of brass ensembles, and judging from the above rehearsal video, it's going to be fucking epic. Check it!
