To be honest, I haven't been that in love with Of Montreal since they started going in a more electronic direction with Satanic Panic In the Attic. Something about their music just got too excessive for me. However, I'm still moderately psyched to spend some time with their upcoming LP, False Priest. It'll be out on Sept. 14th via Polyvinyl, and I'm surprised to hear the electronics that have plagued their past several albums are toned down. There's are some pretty thunderous drum fills on this one, too. Listen in for win:
