"Not Getting There" matches a smooth production sound with some seductive vocals and a sinister chord progression. I'm really loving the drum machine on this one, and the light yelps Kazu Makino lets out in her vocals. It's almost what I imagine Fever Ray would sound like if she went dreampop.
