Gentleman Jesse- "Rooting For the Underdog"

VideosadminComment

Gentleman Jesse drops a new video and song with "Rooting For the Underdog." It's a rough, rowdy, and bluesy track from the garage rock frontman's new album, Leaving Atlanta. It's out now via Douchemaster Records.

Jesse's last album dropped about four years ago, and it was easily one of my favorite rock releases of that year. So, I've kinda been wondering if it would ever see a followup. Unfortunately, everything from a bad economy to nearly being beaten to death hit this guy between the release of these two records. Despite the trauma, the reckless rock 'n' roll energy is still there, and the video here reflects that. After all, there's nothing like taking your dad's muscle car out to pick up some girls and escape from the police.
