Reviews1 CommentNew Death Grips Video!
Videos1 CommentEvery since Death Grips dropped a new track via an ominous video on YouTube last night, people have been asking me what I think of the experimental hip hop jam. So far, I'm liking what I'm hearing. I think the reversed vocals and the muddy beat on this are a nice, trippy direction for this track.
Of course it's got me stoked on what are supposed to be two, yes, two new albums from Death Grips this year. The first is gonna drop in April. Be on the look out.

Vektor- "Dying World" / "Dark Creations, Dead Creators"
New Tracks4 CommentsTwo new tracks from Vektor, which is an Arizona thrash metal band responsible for my favorite metal album of 2009. Above and below are two new tracks from the group's forthcoming album, Outer Isolation. Look for it on November 15th via Heavy Artillery.
Mastodon- "Spectrelight"
Videos1 CommentA new video and song from Mastodon, teasing to the release of the band's new album, the Hunter, on Sept. 27th. I'm actually digging this track a lot more than the first one to drop earlier this year. The riffs are mighty, and the drums fills are pretty intense, too. Can't wait to review this thing.
