Golden Rules - "Never Die" ft. Yasiin Bey

Golden Rules is the team-up of Paul White, the UK's premier leftfield hip hop producer, and Florida rapper/singer/producer Eric Biddines. The twosome has a full-length project called Golden Ticket out August 7 via Lex Records; until then, you can check out this super soulful single featuring Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def).

Paul White - "Watch the Ants"

Paul White is most known for producing for Danny Brown, and is producing multiple tracks off of Danny Brown's upcoming Old. He is also readying his own release, the EP Watch The Ants, and has just released a video for the eponymous track off of the EP. The track takes much of the sonic material of early Boards of Canada: children sing-songs, 70's television-show synths, and breakbeats, but makes something much different out of them. Where Boards of Canada create serene music for the point between sleep and waking, "Watch the Ants" is urgent, frantic and swampy.

A new track from Danny Brown, which if off a forthcoming EP of collaborations between him and producer Black Milk. Detroit forever!

The EP's title is Black and Brown, of course, and it's gonna see a release on Fat Beats on November 1st. Here's the track list:

The track above features a beat from Paul White, and samples Brian Eno's "St. Elmo's Fire," which gives it a really odd texture for a hip hop track.
