Stream: Deafheaven- "Violet" (Edit) Last year, I was loving this demo from the West Coast metal outfit Deafheaven. I even donated some money for the tunes. I'm not completely psyched to hear that they've got a new LP out on Deathwish this week. Hear an edit of one of the tracks above.
An edit? Well, it's because the album has four tracks, and this one in particular is over twelve minutes long. But I can promise you it's an emotional, mind-bending, and aurally abusive twelve minutes.
