A$AP Ferg - Ferg Forever
UncategorizedCommentDownload: A$AP Ferg - Ferg Forever A$AP Mob's Lord Fergenstein has a new album coming in 2015, and he's decided to tease toward it with a DJ Drama-hosted Gangsta Grillz mixtape. The title: Ferg Forever. With production from Clams Casino, Big K.R.I.T., Mike Will, and Crystal Caines, this is pretty diverse set of tracks. There's a number of impressive feature credits as well: Big Sean, YG, SZA, A$AP Nast.
While I can't really expect it to be anything more than just a taste of what's to come, it's still a good taste. Download this thing via the link above.
SZA - Z ft. Cakes Da Killa
ReviewsCommentIt pains me to say it, but I don't care for this new SZA record at all. Not just because some of the tunes are unmemorable, but her own vocal guests just step all over her and these songs.
SZA - Babylon
VideosCommentTDE member SZA drops a stunning single and video for her upcoming album, Z, which is dropping on April 8th. While this is clearly an R&B song, I'm loving the unusual emphasis on atmosphere in the production and subtle Björk influences on the vocal melody here. It would be stellar to see her evolve along this difficult-to-categorize path. She's definitely off to a good start.
You can also catch her vocals on the new Schoolboy Q album if you're interested.
Enjoy!
Isaiah Rashad - "Ronnie Drake" ft. SZA
VideosCommentTop Dawg MC Isaiah Rashad takes us to his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee in this new black and white music video for latest single "Ronnie Drake." In case you missed the song when it dropped a few weeks back, it showcases a smoother, more nuanced flow from Rashad, who's even joined by fellow Top Dawg songstress SZA on the hook. With the hardhitting "Shot You Down" and this, again, incredibly smooth new track, Rashad is proving himself to be quite a versatile and exciting up-and-comer. Watch the video above and enjoy!
"Ronnie Drake" will presumably be featured on Rashad's debut mixtape, Cilvia, due out in late December.
