This is cool. "Calmer than You" is the first track that Trash Kids have released off of the forthcoming debut album "Get Lost." Its an instrumental psychedelic song, but what it really gets correctly is the groove. This is an excellent example of how to do a bare song, no drastic changes occur within the song; it gets locked into it's groove, and then has subtle new sounds inrtoduced and removed from the mix. Very much looking forward to their full length.

When you're recording your own music, there are no rules. What you say goes. Why not break some rules? Why not search for something new, odd, strange? If the project / collective Trash Kids went into this Headdancer LP with any goal at all, it's that.
Created by the Parallax View and Messed Up Coyote, these psychedelic, lo-fi tunes are filled with noisy synths, eccentric vocals, and overblown beats. It's got an intentional element of trashiness in there, making the songs feel weirder than the would otherwise.
It's loud, freaky, and proud of it.
