The surf-pop emulators continue to deliver the goods, and channel their inner rock 'n’ roll idols. The video is a humorously blatant reference to the legendary promotional tape of the Ramones’ “Loudmouth," too.

Two Wounded Birds- "All We Wanna Do"

New video for the Two Wounded Birds joint "All We Wanna Do." From the moment I heard these guys, I dug their embrace of a surf rock sound. They're still staying true to the sand and the sea, but they're coming out of their shell a lot more, which has made their music much more exciting to listen to, frankly. The tracks "All We Wanna Do" and "Midnight Wave" will be getting a 7'' release via Moshi Moshi on April 18th. -

Two Wounded Birds- "Keep Dreaming Baby" ‡ STREAM

Title track from Two Wounded Birds' forthcoming EP, Keep Dreaming Baby. We blogged a single of theirs at the beginning of this month.

I'm digging the guitar twang and the slightly desperate vocals on this one. The drums hit pretty hard, and the tambourine is a  nice touch, too. It comes off really wild and emotional, but doesn't go past the brink of sanity.

Two Wounded Birds- "My Lonesome" ‡ VIDEO

Here's a new video from the UK outfit Two Wounded Birds. They take an extremely dreamy and relaxed approach to surf rock, letting reverbed guitars ripple infinitely over a tight set of drums and bass. The vocals are pretty calming, too.
