Disclosure - "When A Fire Starts To Burn"

New TracksadminComment

A new track drops from the brotherly, British electronic music duo Disclosure. They've had some incredibly hot singles this year that have some clear influences coming from the worlds of R&B and 90s dance-pop.

However, as Stereogum points out, this new cut functions on a much funkier premise, which I like quite a bit. It's actually got me looking forward to the duo's new full-length album a bit more, Settle. Tracks like "When A Fire Starts To Burn," will undoubtedly add some great variety to the poppier tracks on this forthcoming album. Look for it at the beginning of June via PMR.

Evian Christ- Kings and Them

At the beginning of January, I fell in love with the music of Evian Christ at first listen. The young London-based producer just has a really creative approach to beatmusic; incorporating elements of hip hop, ambient music, and various sounds from the latest electronic music trends in the UK.

I wasn't the only one who felt that way, though. Evian received quite a bit of blog buzz for the handful of tracks he had anonymously uploaded to a YouTube channel not too long ago.

Thanks to the uproar, Evian has now released a free compilation of all the tracks he's released so far on YouTube, and should be releasing more material in the future on the label that recently recruited him, Tri Angle Records.
