Premiere: Wax Fang - "Pusher"

Wax Fang is a Louisville band that most recently released a space rock opera titled The Astronaut in 2014. I'm telling you this not only in case you mistook Interstellar for the greatest cosmic odyssey of that year, but also to set the tone for this premiere. "Pusher," the lead single of Wax Fang's upcoming album Victory Laps, finds the outfit up in the stars once again as they deliver a powerful piece of keyboard rock in three parts. Hope you dig it!

After teasing your ears with a remix from the upcoming collaborative album from (MF) DOOM and Ghostface Killah--a.k.a. DOOMSTARKS--we finally have an original to munch on. It was premiered via XXL, and I found it on 130BPM.

And maybe it's because I wasn't exposed to this version first, but I think I actually like the beat behind the remix a lot more. The beat here seems a little too sparse, and I did love the horns on that remix.

Still, the flows are solid, and I'm sure the rest of them will be on this upcoming LP. Cant' wait.
