C. Tangana raps about grief and fatherhood on new track “Milko Freestyle”

C. Tangana returns to rap with a new track titled “Milko Freestyle”.

The single — produced by Kevd and Jambo — arrives five years after his last album El Madrileño (which he references in the track), and comes alongside a music video directed by Rogelio González, which you can watch below:

The song is deeply personal and, according to a press release, “is inspired by life-changing events, including the death of his close friend and collaborator Milkman and the new experience of becoming a father.”

It’s been three years since C. Tangana released music as a solo artist with the centenary of the Celta de Vigo anthem “Oliveira dos cen anos,” as well as “Estrecho / Alvarado” for the fifth anniversary of his mixtape Avida Dollars. In 2024, he directed the documentary The Flamenco Guitar of Yerai Cortés; and last year, he featured on Mora’s track “DROGA”.

C. Tangana is also gearing up for four arena shows in Madrid because of the reunion of his Hip Hop collective Agorazein, which he was a member of under the pseudonym Crema.
