The Philadelphia art folk duo @ (pronounced "At") have recently announced their upcoming debut album Autosmile, their second studio LP (out October 16) and first released through 4AD. The band have also shared dates for an upcoming promotional tour, which includes a handful of headline dates and a supporting role for both This is Lorelei and new labelmates YHWH Nailgun, as well as the titular track, "Autosmile."

"Autosmile," a 7-minute, harmonious track that bends the flurry of acoustic guitars and light tambourine accents into a trickling, haunting composition about a breakup turned into a practice of demonology, is out now with an accompanying music video. Watch/listen to the new single below:

On the new track, the duo — Victoria Rose and Stone Filipczak — kept their remarks brief: "Really excited to have this song out; it took a while and a few tries to capture in the way we wanted, and we hope you enjoy it."

Coming out October 16, Autosmile will be the follow-up to Mind Palace Music, initially self-released in 2021 before getting picked up by Carpark Records and re-released in 2023. The upcoming album aims to bring the psychedelic folk tradition into the contemporary, offering 11 tracks that bend acoustic instruments into heavy, spiritualistic compositions.

This fall, @ will be embarking on a brief headline tour in their hometown of Philadelphia, Europe, and the UK. They will also be joining This is Lorelei and YHWH Nailgun as supporting acts for select dates on their respective tours. Tickets for the headline gigs will go on sale this Friday, June 26.
