Afrobeats artist Arya Starr got announced today as the halftime show performer for the London NFL game on October 11 between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Starr, who's best known for songs such as "Rush" and "Amazing," is a two time Grammy Nominee whose career has been on the rise since her debut studio album 19 and Dangerous. Starr released her third studio album Starr Girl on August 14 to critical and chart success.
When asked about performing the halftime show, Starr said, “I am so excited to perform at the NFL halftime show in London,” “London is one of my favorite places in the world and to bring Starrgirl to the NFL global stage is a dream come true for me. I can’t wait to see you guys there!”
Previous performers of the London halftime shows included pop singer Raye who performed for the Minnesota Vikings vs Cleveland Browns game last year and Yungblud who performed in 2022 for the Minnesota Vikings vs New Orleans Saints match.
