Former BROCKHAMPTON member Ciarán McDonald, also known as Bearface, has broken his silence with a teaser trailer for new music.
This comes after eagle-eyed fans noticed him wiping his Instagram account, changing the handle from @bearfacington to @ciaran_1111, and his bio stating "mmmonday."
A linked website takes one to an "AUDIO | LOGS | VIDEO | LIVE | STORE" page, where "AUDIO" plays a short piano snippet.
"LOGS" has a short write-up from McDonald:
"I’m going to keep this first post brief as to not get too long winded. I really and truly appreciate every single person who has remained excited at even the prospect of me coming back and releasing something. Its been an extensive and intentional process and I hope you can enjoy the music (and the process of that which it comes) with an open heart and I hope it can become something that you could see yourself living with for a long while.
I wanted to have this website as a place to post periodically that can hopefully live slightly outside the noise and frame of the usual hubs of Continuous Information Consumption. I’ve also been preparing Hard with the help of some great friends so that some of you can experience the music firsthand, in a way that will hopefully do the recordings justice. For the heads. See you shortly."

Since BROCKHAMPTON's breakup and final shows in 2022, McDonald has noticably been silent about his future projects. He did at one point move to New York City and get involved in comedy, as seen with Michael Rees's @leadprotagonist page.
