Ice Spice was assaulted in McDonald's

Crossover drill star Ice Spice was attacked in a Hollywood McDonald's according to security camera footage obtained by TMZ. On the video, a woman is seen approaching the rapper and a companion seated together in a booth, who gets awfully close and starts talking to them, blocking the way out of the booth. The rapper born Isis Gaston doesn't appear to be inviting the encounter, and then the approaching "fan" appears to hit her in the video. The fan's friend tries to drag her away from the scene but Gaston jumps over tables attempting to go after her.

In additional clips, Ice Spice appears to pick up a phone from the ground that allegedly belongs to one of the people who were with the attacker, and smashes it on the ground. Finally, as Gaston is attempting to cross the street and leave, the assailant tries to punch her again.

Ice Spice's attorney Bradford Cohen gave a statement to TMZ:

The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly. We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security.

TMZ also spoke to the attacker, who gave the name Vayah, who claimed "Ice Spice was very rude to her when she tried to politely show her love for the star and that Gaston called her a "bitch" before Vayah slapped her.
