"Two Minutes To Late Night" made it's glorious return this week, with the talk-show-turned-covers-anthology taking on a gnarly cover of Iron Age's "Burden Of Empire."
Host Gwarsenio Hall, aka Jordan Olds of Blood Vulture, arranged the cover of the defunct Texas crossover thrash metal band known for heavily inspiring bands like Power Trip, Eternal Champion, Mammoth Grinder, etc.
Much like the previous 66 covers, Gwarsenio enlisted a killer roster of thrashers and death metallers to assist, including Judiciary's Jack Collinson on vocals, Frozen Soul's Chris Bonner of guitars, Creeping Death/Saintpeeler's Addrian Jafaritabar on bass and Fugitive drummer Lincoln Mullins on drums.
Gwarsenio states:
“Wake up Sleeping Eye. No ones in a bedroom but please enjoy our 67th cover We’re back with a song by the best band of the 21st Century/The band that inspired Power Trip and every crossover band of the last 25 years.”
