Yesterday, one of the trio's members, rapper Moglai Bap, took to social media to share a very personal and heartfelt statement behind the song. The new single, which closes out the album, is a tribute to Moglai Bap's late mother, who lost her long battle with depression.

He explains, "'Irish Goodbye' is about the mundane things me and my ma did together. I never realised it was the day-to-day stuff I would miss when she was gone." On the flipside, he mentions that re-watching footage of his late mother "allowed me to visualise happier times, instead of being so angry at the world.
