Santa Monica's Ocean Way Festival canceled due to Hurricane Marie

Today, the Ocean Way Festival was canceled just two weeks before its inaugural September 26-27 dates. The Santa Monica, California festival was pulled by the city's government due to significant beach erosion from Hurricane Marie.

Ocean Way, backed by Goldenvoice and the City of Santa Monica, aimed to revitalize the downtown area and bring live music to the western part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The weekend would have had acts like The Killers, Olivia Dean, Jack White, and Khruangbin taking the stage.

Ocean Way will return next year to Santa Monica.
