Remi Wolf has announced her new album, Mud, out October 9 via Island Records. The 11-track LP is her third studio album and the follow-up to 2024's Big Ideas, and it finds Wolf trading gloss for something rawer, with much of the record cut live in one room.

Alongside the announcement, Wolf shared the album's new single, "Bottle," which arrives August 21 accompanied by a music video. It follows lead single "Twiggy" as the second taste of the record, which you can revisit here:

Mud came together across sessions in Nashville, a retreat to Big Bear, Electric Lady Studios in New York, and a final stretch in Joshua Tree, with Wolf working alongside collaborators Jared Solomon, Jack DeMeo, Jamie McLaughlin, and Gigi Grombacher. Rather than build the songs piece by piece, the group tracked live instrumentation together in the same room, chasing the feel of a band playing off each other.

For Wolf, the process doubled as a reset. "I feel like I've crossed into a new phase of life because of this album," she said, describing it as a "cleansing record" that left her feeling transformed and clearer than when she started.
