American rock band The National have announced their first show since 2024 – and sole performance of 2026 – via social media and their website. Their performance will mark the headline to a weekend of shows labeled AB100, a festival celebrating the 50th birthdays of band members and twin brothers, Aaron and Bryce Dessner.
The two-day event is taking place on October 17-18 in Biarritz, France, as well as Donostia/San Sebastián, Spain, though The National will only be performing at the Spanish venue.
Alongside the stars of the show comes a deluge of friends and collaborators who will be filling out the rest of the weekend, which The National named in their announcement:
"Performers and collaborators that weekend will include Kevin Morby, Ben Howard, Jon Hopkins, Mina Tindle, Ragnar Kjartansson, Richard Reed Perry, Anaïs Mitchell, Ye Vagabonds, Lisa Hannigan, Angie McMahon, Kate Stables, Pomme and many more to be announced."
Tickets for the event go on sale on August 3, with more updates to come via the AB100 Instagram.
