The Tallest Man On Earth, the solo project of Swedish singer-songwriter Kristian Matsson, has released his first taste of new music in three years with the ever-so-vibrant single "Colors."

Heavily compared to folk greats like Bob Dylan, Matsson does not deny influence, having immersed himself in the worlds of Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie, but he shys away from any specific labeling or tradition. "I don’t want to be part of a tradition," he says. "I just want to do what feels natural to me. This is how I play, and this is how I write songs.”

Matsson will soon embark on a worldwide stretch of tour dates, beginning June 26 in Glumserud, Sweden, before hitting the UK and navigating across the pond for a run in North America. Purchase tickets here.
