Wolf Alice announce 'The Clearing: B-Sides' with new song "Gospel Oak"

Wolf Alice have announced a new 7" release containing three previously unreleased tracks from their 2025 album packaged up as The Clearing: B-Sides, out August 21. Lead track "Gospel Oak," out now, is a short piano ballad that the band say was inspired by folk songs and school assembly hall singalongs.

Listen below:

Speaking on the package as a whole, the band write in a press release:

“These are a few songs we made during The Clearing that didn’t make it on the final record, but are ones we love very much, including a cover with two of our fave singers Julia Cumming and Bria Salmena – we’re happy to have found a home for them for you to hear. Enjoy”

The cover they speak of is "Hammond Song," originally by American sister trio The Roches and featured on their 1979 self-titled debut album, while the trio of songs is rounded out by new original "Hit the Sky." All three tracks were debuted live at the band's Royal Albert Hall show in London earlier this year.

The Clearing: B-Sides is out August 21. Pre-order here. Tracklist below:

1. Gospel Oak
2. Hammond Song (feat. Julia Cumming and Bria Salmena)
3. Hit the Sky
