Many may not be familiar with guitarist Dustin Wong's work in a solo capacity, but surely you've heard this guy tear apart ear drum after ear drum in the band Ponytail. Dustin is releasing a third solo effort via Thrill Jockey, and I hope "Talking Walking Cloud" is proof of what the rest of this LP will sound like. This track builds into a mountain of guitar loops, and uses a plethora of effects to generate different sounds. Let's just say the cover of this album is a pretty accurate depiction of the music itself.
