Nicolas Jaar - Telas
ReviewsCommentTelas sounds like a collection of glitchy and electroacoustic leftovers—which, granted, mostly sound good—glued into quasi-longform pieces.
Nicolas Jaar - Cenizas
ReviewsCommentNicolas Jaar's second album of 2020 is an evocative set of electroacoustic vignettes.
A.A.L (Against All Logic) - 2012-2017
ReviewsCommentNicolas Jaar's full-length debut as Against All Logic is one of the funkiest, most entrancing, and most cutting-edge collections of house music ever produced.
A.A.L (Against All Logic) - "Some Kind of Game"
New TracksCommentThis past week, Nicolas Jaar 'covertly' released an album titled 2012-2017 under his Against All Logic alias. As you may have guessed, it compiles much of the material he recorded as A.A.L between those years, including previously released pieces like "I Never Dream" and "Flash in the Pan." One of many highlights among the hour of obscenely groovy deep house is "Some Kind of Game," which you can hear (and dance your ass off to) above. Enjoy!
2012-2017 is out now via Other People.
Nicolas Jaar - Sirens
ReviewsCommentNicolas Jaar experiments with vocals and a lot more on his latest album, Sirens.
Nicolas Jaar - Fight
New TracksCommentA new single from the GOD himself Nicolas Jaar on R&S. It's a masterfully produced 8-minute monster withmultiple passages flowing throughout it. It's awesome to see Jaar continuing on this abstract, ambitious streak he's been on since the release of his breakout Space Is Only Noise.
Make sure to check out the recent Pomegranates soundtrack he dropped as well.
Nicolas Jaar - Pomegranates
Reviews1 CommentNicolas Jaar's Pomegranates soundtrack is a set of patient, desolate, and beautiful pieces meant to complement the 1969 Russian film The Color of Pomegranates.
