I had first heard of this brand new metal outfit because it features ex-Red Chord drummer Brad Fickeisen and certainly didn't know what to expect. Hell, every side -project members of that band are involved in never sound exactly like what you'd expect. What I ended up getting was a quick burst of modern thrash riffs with a hardcore ethos and just a hint of headbangin' stoner rock. There's little to no frills, it doesn't spend a lot of time ripping off Entombed, and it's incredibly pissed off. Definitely a great new discovery in 2013. I'll be excited to hear what these guys can come up with in the future. Faith is certainly one hell of a debut!
