It's a testament to Trent Reznor's songwriting skills that his sophomore album, an abrasive and harrowing concept album about self-destruction, became a multi-platinum hit.

Nine Inch Nails - Hesitation Marks
Reviews2 CommentsAfter the incredibly textured and forward-thinking the Slip in '08, Nine Inch Nails returns with a bit of a throwback on Hesitation Marks.
Nine Inch Nails - "Came Back Haunted"
New Tracks1 CommentTrent Reznor comes through with an incredibly sharp single from the next Nine Inch Nails album, Hesitation Marks. The LP is currently looking at a September 3rd release date. Enjoy!
How To Destroy Angels- "Keep It Together"
New Tracks5 CommentsStep aside, Peccatum--you’re not the only husband-wife duo that can make incredibly dense, heavy and challenging music. Trent Reznor and his wife, Mariqueen Maandig, follow up their self-titled debut with yet another four minutes of haunting electronica that has more in common with Portishead than it does with Nine Inch Nails. “Keep It Together” moves at a lingering pace but definitely has me excited for their new album.
How To Destroy Angels' An Omen EP will be out on November 13th.
Trent Reznor- "Immigrant Song" ft. Karen O and Atticus Ross
New Tracks2 CommentsI think Trent Reznor has found his true calling in movie scores starting with the excellent The Social Network soundtrack. Thenew Girl with the Dragon Tattoo soundtrack it likely to be equally as great.
Reznor and Karen O released this cover from the soundtrack, which has to be one of the most interesting Led Zeppelin covers ever recorded. It definitely has Reznor's trademark industrial, synthesized sound, but mixed with Karen O on vocals the track a very modern feel. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo soundtrack is available for pre-order on iTunes now.
