Singapore's Wormrot will be dropping an LP titled Dirge on Earache Recs this May. In the meantime, the label has been awesome enough to allow fans to download the entire album for free on their website--for the price of an e-mail address of course.
This thing is one of the most fun grindcore records I've heard in a while. I know "fun" isn't usually a word people associate with the genre, but the band's thrash riffs and neck-snapping speeds are too exhilarating for me to sit back unamused. It puts a little smirk on my face. Is that so wrong?
