Anguish is a doom metal band that comes straight out of Sweden. They released their debut album, Through the Archdemon's Head, back in February via Dark Descent Records. "Illusive Damnation" makes an appearance on the album as the sixth of its eight tracks.
The song shows the band pairing Candlemass-reminiscent doom riffs with a guttural, bone-chilling vocal delivery. If you've ever wondered what some of the heaviest moments on that recent Pallbearer album might sound like with a grittier vocalist, this may be for you.
