The dancey California indie rock band Soft Pack will follow up their 2010 self-titled album with a new LP this fall entitled Strapped, which may or may not correlate with the band's rather humorous name. "Saratoga" is the first track to debut from the record, and although it finds the band turning down the abrasion of some of their past material a little bit, the catchy melodies and crisp rhythms are still there in full effect. This is a very enjoyable summer pop track, if not a particularly interesting or challenging one.
Strapped is out September 25th on Mexican Summer.
