Famed electronic music producer Kieran Hebden, a.k.a. Four Tet, has a new album on the way titled Beautiful Rewind, and "Kool FM" is the first single to drop from it.
Like Tet's Pink compilation forecast, "Kool FM" sees Hebden's productions heading further into the worlds of tech house and deep house. The 5-minute cut consists mostly of some cold, driving kicks and eerie synths that swell as the song progresses. It's not a bad track, but it kind of highlights exactly what made at least some of the tracks on Pink a little underwhelming.
