Step Brothers - "Step Masters"

Alchemist and Evidence are Step Brothers, and they've recently dropped a new full-length via Rhymesaysers. The title: Lord Steppington. While I'm not usually a huge fan of the slightly monotone flow that Evidence brings to the table, there's something about it over this spacious, bass-heavy beat Alchemist put together for "Step Masters." It's making me curious about this collab album has to offer.

Oh, also, the visuals attached to this new track from Ev & Alc is hilarious. It's a series of arbitrary contests that looked pretty fun to film. Enjoy!

New Blu LP: Jesus

I don't know what's holding up this dude's next full-length album, NoYork!, but L.A.'s Blu--who I just "B" on this tape--has dropped a new mixtape of  tracks featuring production from Madlib, Alchemist, and more.

The album seems to have been released in a decidedly lo-fi recording quality. Blu's voice seems a little distanced from the mic, and the beats are very light and fuzzy.

The tape is titled Jesus, and styilized as "j e s u s ▲." Stream it in full above, the cover art is below. Buy it for ten bones at Bandcamp.
