Could this new single from Queens rapper Despot mean he's finally ready to drop an album?! Who knows...

Run The Jewels - "Blockbuster Night Pt. 2 ft. Despot & Wiki
New TracksCommentRun the Jewels drops a bonus track from their recently released--and very awesome--sophomore album, Run The Jewels 2. It seems to be the second part of the album cut "Blockbuster Night Pt. 1," and features guest verses from Despot and Ratking member Wiki.
It's a hot track. The beat's got a heavy, stuttering groove, and some strangely noisy DJ cuts, too--if those sounds at 1:15 even are DJ cuts. El-P and Killer Mike are great as usual, and the guest verses match the tone of the song really well.

El-P- "Tougher Colder Killer" ft. Despot and Killer Mike
New Tracks4 CommentsEl-P drops a new track from his forthcoming album Cancer For Cure, featuring verses from Killer Mike and Despot. I love the song concept, too. To me, it seems to poke fun at the ongoing race in hip hop to come off tougher than the next guy. C'mon, guys. We all know that race has already been won.
But seriously, it's a dimension worth attacking, and El-P does it with both guns blazin'. Despot and Mike come through just as hard, creating a superhero trio of ultra-aggressive rappers that tag team this beat like heavyweight champs. Body slam! Powerbomb! Piledriver! DDT!
Look for this new album on May 25th.
