With the announcement of Moogfest 2016 came Translational Drifts, an EP containing covers of some of the festival's icons. The standout of this set for us is Moses Sumney's live and improvised take on Laurie Anderson's "O Superman"; he miraculously recaptures the wistfulness of the original's vocoder effect. Check out both artists' versions above and below.

Tera Melos- "Echo On The Hills Of Knebworth"
New TracksCommentCalifornia rock trio Tera Melos has released a 51-minute skull-craker titled "Echo On The Hills Of Knebworth." The piece is completely improvised, and was left over from the studio sessions of Patagonian Rats. Stream the entire thing above.
The band has released the track in hopes the funds raised from it will support them on their forthcoming tour through the UK and Ireland. If you've loved this band's stuff in the past, now is the time to come out and support 'em.
